Magical Palm stencil – Erin Lee Creative

Hey hey hey. Thank you for being here today.

A while back, I was lucky to be chosen as a giveaway winner to Erin Lee Creative‘s blog hop giveaway. I bought a bunch of cool products from her website and have been playing with some of them.

Here is my first card (many more to go). I started this card by using the Palm tree stencil on white cardstock using distress oxides aged mahogany and candied apple. Then, using a circle die from Hero Arts, I die cut the scene and layered it with two more circled cardstock.

The next step was to take another white card stock and using a pencil, form a circle around where the image was going to be placed. I used the Monstera Layering stencil set to color in the two leaves on the opposite sides, using fired brick and gathered twigs.

Then, I splattered some of the same distress inks, by smooshing it on plastic and adding some water. After it was completely dried, the circle cut scene was glued on.

I used a red cardstock for the ‘magical‘ die cut word, and then stamped word ‘days’ using Docrafts stamps.

Its a really simple card and I tried to give it some dimension even though it was only a stencil.

Thanks for being here. See you soon!
