Hi everyone.

Today, I am sharing a simple sticker card that I am using for a Fall card. I’ll be honest with you, I’ve never really celebrated the beginning of a new weather. But this year, I think I am trying to find joy in the little things (the pandemic seems to have sucked out all the joy 😦 ). Seeing the cardmaking community share their wonderful fall projects, got me super excited and I wanted to jump onto the wagon. I don’t have a lot of fall themed stamps or dies, and that’s where I think having a few seasonal stickers and embellishments can help. You get to play and also not have products that you know you won’t be using long term.

For the card, I used the Rustic Red wood grained cardstock as the background. I also used the Hero Arts Woodgrain Fancy Die that I die cut on a white cardstock and trimmed it down with Waffle Flowers Ticket die set. Here I use the inside portion (the border is used for another project, so no waste). I used Distress Ink Gathered Twigs and oxide Aged Mahogany to create that look. I die cut the same die 3 times so that I could layer it. I adhered that piece a little off-center.

All the stickers are from the Autumn Woods Cardstock Stickers. Also for one of the circled stickers on the right side, I added foam adhesive to create dimension.

I honestly feel that we don’t always have to have all the dies and stamps in the world, and using something simple like stickers can add elements to cards that you wouldn’t normally think of. What do you guys think?
