Happy Wednesday and thank you for stopping by.
I wanted to share this super simple and fun card with you. I took inspiration from the Butterfly Reflections Inc. monthly mood board challenge that they host over at Instagram. Here is the color palette:

I recently purchased a Gelli plate and roller and finally busted it out for this card. I started off by applying Liquid Pearls on the plate. I chose Pewter as it resembled the light grey. I used the roller and spread it evenly. Then using a white cardstock I laid it down and run the roller again so that the color would get absorbed into the paper.

Next, I wanted to add gold flakes. This was probably the most longest and toughest for me. I applied the Cosmic Shimmer glue and waited for it to dry, but somehow the gold flakes didn’t adhere as much as I wanted to. It took me a long time and I could only manage these many specs on my card.

Nest I used Pinkfresh Studio Leafy Squares stencil, using a brush and DO Weathered Wood and applied it unevenly over the card. Next shade I used was DI Victorian Velvet on a white cardstock and used the large You die from Simon Says Stamp to die cut it 3 times and glued them all together. I added hearts to match the color.

I wanted to add more sentiments, but when I saw this, I felt like it communicated exactly what I wanted. Do you guys also think that? Let me know in the comments.
