Hello all and thank you for stopping by. This is my last post for TLC Designs for the year 2022. I genuinely can’t believe that we are at the end of 2022. This year has been huge for me, as we have left the USA and moved to a new country, UAE. Let’s end this year with this Hawaiian theme (or a common sight here in the UAE) card.

This card measures a standard A2 card. I took a plain white cardstock measuring 5.5 x 4.25 inches. I started with DI Spiced Marmalade as the sand and Squeezed Lemonade as the sunny sky. I used DO Broken China as the blue sky. Next, I used the die from the Land & Sea dies to make a dry embossed look for the sand by running it through the Big Shot twice.

Next, I printed the digital stamps from the Hawaiian Holiday Digital Stamp Set of the Tiki Bar and the Hawaiian guy. I colored the images using polychromos and then fussy cut the images. I glued the Tiki bar as the base and used foam tape for the man.

I also added some birds using the die from Aztec Sunshine Circle Die from black cardstock. Finally, I added the word Mahalo on the bar to complete the card.

I really loved the ombre look of the card. I have never made something like this before and really love how it turned out.
