Crafter’s Café Challenge DT – #280 Use your Favorite

Oh mid December, here we are. I hope all of you are ready and excited for Christmas.

This blog post is also another last. This is my last post as the DT of Crafter’s Café Challenge blog. This was my first DT role that I started in June. Since then, I have had the most amazing time with the most supportive and very chilled out group of people. I will truly miss being on this team, and happy to have been a part! Lots of hugs to all of you!

Today’s challenge is focusing on Your Favorite, could be color, technique or anything else. We would love to see your most go to method when crafting.

For me, it’s always a fun shaker. It could be a card, or a tag or anything else you can think of. It’s also, the most toughest and time consuming! I had a fun time using this image from our sponsor All Dressed up.

All I could think of was the mess that this bear had on his hands after waking up from a fun party! Lol

I took a piece of pink cardstock and added glitter stars that I die cut using FSJ dies and glued them to the background. I made an acetate pocket that surrounds this cardstock and gluing it from all sides at the back, except for the top. Then I added sequins from FSJ and some glitter from Heidi Swapp, and then went ahead and sealed the top.

I printed the bear and colored him in using watercolor pencils and Arteza brush pens. I fussy cut him and glued him on top of the acetate with a double tape. The banners are from Sizzix and the Happy Birthday sentiment is from Hampton Arts. I added these round rings and one gift to complete the look.

I adhered this entire pocket on a white cardstock folded notecard. This style is super interactive, and colorful, just how I like it.

Share your creations with us before 31st December for a chance to win prizes from our sponsors.

Other Challenge entries:

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas.
