Peonies, tulips, gingerbread cookies, and more! This collection of products is just the thing to help you beat the seasonal blues. You are sure to find inspiration with these lovelies as you get creative in your craft space.

I have a bunch of cards for the release, so let’s get started:
Card 1: Build-A-Garden Pristine Peonies: Acetate style

I chose to make the large and beautiful peonies in the color I have always seen them in, pink. I decided to layer the peonies in between acetates after stenciling the layers. The left corner is at the base of acetate over which the right top corner peony is sitting on with a foam tape in-between. I added the word HI using the mighty alphabet die and sentiment from the same stamp set. The enamel dots are from the New Day Card Kit.
Card 2: Build-A-Garden Pristine Peonies: Watercolor style

For this card, I used the Wow Fairy Dust embossing powder for the outline of the stamp. I watercolor the image using Arteza brush pens and die-cut the image. For the card, I die cut a pink cardstock with the Mega Stamp Frames Die Set. I cut out silver metallic thread (similar to this thread set) and glued it to the base and stuck the die-cut peony on top. I added silver dots using Pewter liquid pearls. Finally, I stamped the word Congratulations with Dusty Concord.
Card 3: Craft-A-Flower: Tulip Full Bloom: Tag

This tag was inspired by the falling of the petals. I die-cut the petals from the die set in white and colored them with a soft lavender shade. I used a glitter spray to add some dimension to the petals. Now comes the assembly. I cut a kraft brown paper to 2inches by 6 inches and punched a hole. That’s the base of the tag. I used brown ink to add some color to the edges. I assembled the tulip, which was super easy as the instructions are provided at the back of the packaging. Also, there is an arrow in each of the die cuts, and you just need to align all of the layers by that. The enamel dots are from the New Day Card Kit. I stamped the sentiment Thank You in black onyx ink.
Card 4: Craft Your Life Project Kit: Floral Acanthus
This card was fun to make as I had never seen this flower/plant before. Starting with the bottom layer was the leaves. I layered these with Black Soot and Pumice stone with the stencils, but only choosing the leaves. Stencils are so versatile, that even if you want to use only a particular layer of the stencil, you can do so easily.

Next, I chose 1.5-inch by 5.5 inch black cardstock for the embossing folder. This was my first time using a 3D embossing folder and read that if you spray the paper lightly before running it through the machine, you get a bold 3D effect. And truly, this image doesn’t justify the embossed image. After gluing it down, I ran white ink across the panel to give it an edgy look. Next, I stamped the flower image in black ink, used the stencils for the layering with blue ink shades, and die cut it and adhered it to the top right corner of the card. I die cut the word Hugs from the same die set.
Card 5: Paint-A-Flower: Hibiscus
This card is an homage to the reason why I am sharing these cards with you. I entered their monthly challenge and part of the prize was to be a part of their new release as a guest designer! The card that won is linked here, and you will notice the similarities.

I made this slimline card by using most of the sentiments in the stamp set and stamping them multiple times with the ink Rusty Hinge. Then I stamped the flowers with black embossing powder. I took another strip and stamped the same images so that they would align with the base flowers. Except this panel would be colored. I used Arteza brush pens to color the panel before gluing it down. I love using sentiments as the background as they as a fun element and help to use your sentiment stamps again and again.

You are so creative. My brain doesn’t work like that. Each card is stunning. But that tulip card (maybe because it is my favorite flower) is amazing. The petals dropping. Just gorgeous.
